Product Specifics

At Blindsgalore, your window treatments are custom made based on your own unique measurements and specifications to achieve a perfect fit for your window and the perfect look in your home. This means that production of your blinds does not start until you have placed an order. Everything is being created just for you. By customizing the curtains, blinds, and shades in your home, you are able to create a distinct look to match your living space. This is a huge advantage compared to purchasing window treatments from a local retail store, where you would be forced to pick from the same generic options as everybody else.

All of our custom window treatments are of top quality and come in a wide range of colors, styles, and options. With such variety, you can bet they'll look better in your home than the average run-of-the-mill options. Our superior production process and use of premium materials will help extend the life of your window treatments, leaving you to enjoy the compliments for years to come.

Color Coordinated Components

Color coordinated means similar colors but not necessarily the same exact color. An exact match in color is not always possible for the components of a blind or shade. The shade that best coordinates with the product's slat/fabric color will be chosen for use on the components. Although they will be very similar, these components are predetermined by the manufacturer and are not necessarily the same exact coordinated color. If you have any questions, please call our sales team prior to placing your order.

Headrails come in a limited number of colors and are color coordinated with the shade material by each of the manufacturers. Paints, stains, and dyes may look different when applied to different materials based on that material's individual ability to absorb color. A slight color variation is normal and should be expected. Some specialty headrails only come in white and these products will be clearly noted on our website.

Fabric Selection

For quality purposes, our manufacturers only produce window treatments with the fabrics shown on our website. All of these fabrics have been individually tested for durability and customer satisfaction. Blindsgalore does not offer a COM (customer's own material) service.

Light Leakage

Light leakage or seepage is inherent to some products. Blinds typically do not form a perfect seal between slats and may let in a small amount of light. Longer blinds will have less closure at the bottom of each slat, so please keep this in mind when ordering. This amount of light leakage is normal and should be expected. Sheer shades, even in room darkening fabrics, are not designed to entirely block out light.

Care and Cleaning

To take proper care of your blinds, we recommend consulting the instructional cleaning guide that is shipped with your particular product. For your convenience, we also have a few general cleaning and care guidelines listed on our website.
